Eugenio Scalfari, one of the major figures in Italian journalism over the last 40 years, will open the second edition of the International Journalism Festival. In 1976 he co-founded La Repubblica, which under his editorship became the best-selling Italian daily. Since 1996 he has been the newspaper’s main Sunday columnist. His talk will give a personal insight into the world of Italian journalism.
